The Future For EDM Express

Bill explained that with their present location and equipment, there is additional growth that can be developed and easily handled. By employing a system of remote monitoring, around-the-clock operation of both machines is feasible. He is also studying simple methods of automatic loading and unloading of work pieces.

In order to keep the work coming in, Bill will often deliver finished work personally, and then visit other potential customers in the immediate area. This judicious use of his time has worked out well, and word-of-mouth from shop to shop has also been a major factor in the young company's rapid growth.

The next major step for EDM Express will be purchasing a larger machine. However, Bill told us that he will only do that after the company's debt is reduced. He concluded our visit by relating that most of their customers are small to mid-sized companies, and he feels that EDM Express is in an excellent position to handle their work, and to grow along with them.
